Before we go any further, let me tell you about Tech-AD India Network Solutions, Open Core Solutions’ sister concern in Delhi-NCR, whose work and legacy I wish to bring to Mumbai.

Tech-AD started with the unglamorous but essential work that keeps offices running: structured cabling, network design, Wi-Fi that actually reaches every corner of a building, and the kind of IT support you only really notice when it’s missing. Based out of Nehru Place, that work grew into a full-fledged IT services practice — network infrastructure design and deployment, Cat6/Cat6A structured cabling, Wi-Fi 6 access point installations, CCTV and surveillance systems, IT AMC contracts, remote support, and setup for Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. Hardware sales, software licensing, rentals, repairs — if a business in Delhi-NCR needed its tech to just work, chances are Tech-AD had been part of that conversation, and continues to be.

What I’m proudest of isn’t any single project — it’s the pattern. Client after client, the feedback kept circling back to the same things: a team that showed up, did the job properly, and didn’t disappear after the invoice was paid. People told us the team was responsive, reasonably priced, and actually knew networking and security rather than just reselling boxes. That’s a hard reputation to build in a market like Delhi-NCR, and Tech-AD keeps building on it every day.

Tech-AD also tried, in its own small way, to be useful beyond the immediate job — writing up practical guides for things like choosing the right backup drive, because half the battle in IT is just helping people make sensible decisions before something goes wrong, not just fixing it after.

So why start something new in Mumbai rather than just extending Tech-AD south? Because the work I want to do here isn’t a copy-paste of the Delhi-NCR playbook — it’s the same values, openness, transparency, technical depth, applied to a different city and a slightly different vision of what an IT services company can be. Open Core Solutions is a sibling to Tech-AD, not a replacement for it, and everything Tech-AD has achieved in Delhi-NCR is proof that this approach works.
